entering a password three time does not cause a reset password. i'm locked out of a L20 M1/16/256 sg.ut of a new Macbook air 2020 M1

I can't get to user Password reset. it's kicking me out and requiring I wait 15 minutes to try again. There is no password reset.
Did you read the articles above? Have you tried resetting the password by booting into the Recovery Mode?
