When will Apple update the Calendar App to allow the Apple pencil to write in entries and cross off days? Is this a feature Apple users can expect, or will we always be expected to use a third-party app in order to use our Apple pencils as effectively as desired?

I've just opened the calendar app and clicked + to add a new entry and written into the title field. Are you expecting to write directly onto/into the calendar? This would, I guess be a feature request.
Thank you for the response. I am aware you can do that, however, I would prefer to be able to write directly onto/into the calendar like some of the third-party apps available.
