M2 ray tracing support
I've been forced to leave the Apple ecosystem because of both the switch to Metal and the total lack of development and support of software that uses ray tracing to work (my workflow is based on VRED, Keyshot, autodesk alias and other modelling software) which have all become unsupported or work without leveraging the GPU which makes them painfully slow.
Is there any way that Apple could implement ray tracing in their upcoming M2 cpu's or maybe even in the M3.. it has been such a bad experience migrating to windows. I wish apple was more rendering oriented with their software and hardware
