Why was I just informed I only get 1 free trial week? I thought my new subsciption held a 3 month free trial.

The extended free trial is for new subscribers that have recently purchased a new iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV box, or Mac. The standard trial period for others is 7 days.
