Can I pay my Apple Card with an apple gift card?

I traded in a laptop that I wanted to use the value toward my new laptop. But it took too long and I purchased the new laptop. Now, I'd like to use the Apple gift card that I received from the trade in to pay down the new purchase on my Apple card.
