ICloud icon appears as dotted in the folder, but files are synced

Hi everyone!

Sometimes, the folder that is in the iCloud drive appears with the dotted cloud, but all the files in the folder are in the cloud. I can see that on my iPhone and iPad.

Does anyone know how to fix it?

I have Macbook air M1 2020. Monterey 12.2.1.

Folder in iCloud has dotted cloud icon next to it I don't normally use iCloud but I tried to start. The iCloud drive is there in my Finder. I created a folder in it from within the Finder and put some files in it which I then deleted. I am talking about from on my Mac in the Finder, not on iCloud.com. Ever since I deleted those files, the folder has a dotted cloud icon next to it to the right. I am not sure why this is. Does anyone know how why and how I can fix it?

Why has icloud icon become like that? And icloud drive doesn't work in macbook pro folder. I can't see the new files that i've uploaded from iphone. I can see them only if i go on icloud ny website. thank you for the answers! :)

iCloud folder files only icons Files in my iCloud folder on my MacBook only appear as icons with an icon beside the name showing a cloud and a down arrow. So to access the file, I would have to click that icon for it to download to my MacBook. Problem is, there are hundreds of files and if I am not connected to Internet, I can't access the file, so how do I make iCloud sync so that the file is really there on my Mac all the time? Google Drive has the same issue for me, but Dropbox does not. All the files in my Dropbox folder are there all the time.
