Screen Broadcast error

Whenever I try to stream a screen capture on ANY of my apple mobile devices be iPhone or iPad the message

‘Live Broadcast has stopped due to attempt to start an invalid broadcast session ‘

keeps appearing. I’ve tried everything, restart , pressing screen record again ( which starts a new stream and doesn’t continue the old one ) . I’ve tried reinstalling the app but still problem persists !

You're most welcome, ashwin111,

We appreciate you sharing these details. It appears the alert is being generated via the Streamlabs app itself. In this case, we'd recommend that you contact Streamlabs support directly to investigate this further with you. They're best suited to help.

If you need help to locate their contact details, you can reference this link: How to contact an app developer

Take care!

Thanks for your reply, ashwin111.

We want to make sure we understand clearly. Which app or steps, specifically, are you using to screen capture from your device?

Are you using a third-party app to screen record or Apple steps with already an already installed app to screen record?

Are any of the apps you are trying to screen record Apple apps?

If you get a screen recording using our steps of anything (not app specific) on your device, does it work?

Do you only get that error if you are trying to stream game play to multiple users live?

We look forward to hearing back from you.

Best regards.

Hi ,

the problem unfortunately is not app specific . I’ve tried several apps like streamlabs , omelet arcade . But they all show the same error message about a half an hour or hour into the stream .

I use it to stream my Xbox app in which I’m remote playing my Xbox .

I see several other users complain with the same issue .

please let me know if there is a solution to this🙏

Hi,

Thanks a lot for the reply .

Ok I’ll make it completely clear . First I restart my iPhone or iPad before streaming as some users say this helps reduce this error .by clearing cache etc ( hasn’t really )

Then I open Xbox app on iOS which would be showing my Xbox screen on my iPhone .

I use this so that I can stream my Xbox to any platform without a capture card it’s completely legal , legitimate and Microsoft have told me will cause no issue .

Now that the xbox app is displaying my gameplay , I use Streamlabs ( I’ve tried several others that show same error but streamlabs is what I use most ) to set up stream . It captures my stream via apple screen record ( I’ve attached ss )

and NO none of the other streaming or screen recording apps are open . Only these 2 apps are open on the iPhone or iPad .

Then I go live on streamlabs which opens up the screen record menu of iOS which shows us options like photos etc . From that menu streamlabs is selected and screen recording starts and in live. I switch back to Xbox app and start streaming .

The stream works flawlessly for over an hour or two and at mostly at the 2 hour mark or sometimes even 1.5 hours this message pops up.

NO ONE is screen recording anything else. No other user is live or using . Only one account is active on streamlabs and on no other devices . And I definitely do not touch the phone or iPad after streaming starts so as to not trigger the message .

also I 100% make sure the game is on streaming mode and no copyright content is displayed . But obviously those are not the reasons this happens . It’s happening consistently every time for some reason .

please if you can it would be of great help of a solution is found . As it is hindering the growth of my page immensely. These broken streams are very frustrating to work with

thank you
