Nike Training Club stopped streaming through Apple TV

Starting May of 2021, Whenever I tried to stream a class-based workout through my AppleTV, got the message "An error occurred loading this content. Try again later." However, time-based workouts worked.


This year, however, Nike eliminated time-based workouts so the entire app gives me that message.


I have contacted Nike on dozens of occasions, via twitter, etc, and either been ghosted, or referred to an "Elite team" and then ghosted. They have abandoned all support.

Hi cp_kid,

here is a Nike training support page article regarding Airplay. It may not be as ideal as an app on your AppleTV (that app looks like it was recently updated), however, if it isn’t working for you and Nike is unable to help, maybe it’ll be a better experience using your smartphone and Airplay?

These are the precise methods I used to use that no longer work. They worked for all workouts until May of 2021; after that, they only worked for time-based workouts. Once time-based workouts as a choice was eliminated in 2022, none of the workouts work.


I can stream anything else from my smartphone through my Apple TV, using screen mirroring and have since switched to free youtube workouts with no issue.
