My new iPhone 13Pro does not ring when people call me. I have checked multiple settings according to previous questions and answers in the forum, but my iPhone still does not ring. Some of the old answers no longer apply. What am I missing?

You mentioned settings but not the switch.
Some things to check:

Settings > Phone > Silence Unknown Callers: Detect and block spam phone calls - Apple Support
Do Not Disturb: Use Do Not Disturb on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
If none of the above, also try restarting: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
