Apple Watch 6 screenshots

I have trouble successfully performing a screen shot on my watch. I thinks I’m trying to push one button or the other, no matter how accurately I try to push them at the exact time. Is there l an adjustment setting for this? So u have to hold both side buttons down for a whole full second or so before it takes a screen shot?

Pictures / Apple Watch faces Is there any way I can toggle between an Apple Watch face and one of my pictures? i think I may be going mad but when I first got my watch I set it up with one picture and one of the official faces and when I tapped the watch screen it would toggle between the two. now for some reason it doesn’t, it stays static on only one of them. am I going mad or was this an actual feature? Why can’t I change watch faces by dragging my finger side to side across the face? Since updating to WatchOS 10, I can no longer switch between my different watch faces by dragging my finger side to side across the display. Any idea why?

Apple watch doesn't capture a screenshot when press crown and side button at same time It just vibrates and I have to hold the side button down and then press the crown to create a screenshot. It generates a large sysdiagnose diagnostic log so I know it tries to create the screenshot. Is this likely to be a defect in my watch or is it a problem with Apple Watch 6.1.1? I have completely reset the software on the watch and it makes no difference.
