I cannot open up my MAC laptop. Cannot remember the password or Recovery key. Please advise. Thank you

If you generated a Recovery Key, you were required to write it down and keep it in a safe place. It's not something anyone can be expected to remember.

You are supposed to remember your usual login password though. If you can't remember it, then follow these instructions: If you forgot your Mac login password - Apple Support.

Just to make sure I understand. You don't remember your Apple ID password, as well as, your password recovery key ... correct?

If so, you are basically locked out of your Apple ID as creating a recovery key turns off the alternate option of account recovery. As such, you are responsible for the key as Apple has no means to recover it for you.
