Hey Bill In Boston,


Try a long press on the link you are trying to open. This should open up a preview menu that allows you to 'Open in New Tab.'


You mentioned using Chrome, but the preview menu should look similar to the one in Safari. Check out the section of the following support article titled "Preview website links" - Browse the web using Safari on iPhone - Apple Support

Thank you bbesspete. That’s a great tip. 100% helpful. Yes,, it works in Chrome and Safari.


I realized after reading your succinct solution that I’d spotted a video with the same tip but stopped watching because it was so tedious.


Why do people produce 4-5 minute videos to explain something that can be covered perfectly in 75 words or fewer?
