all events on my calendar disappeared from my Mac

iCloud calendar on mac will not refresh or sync. All events have disappeared on Mac, although they show up on other devices

Read the section - Set up syncing between your Mac and iPhone

Select “Sync [content type] onto [device name].”
By default, all items of a content type are synced, but you can choose to sync individual items, such as selected music, movies, books, or calendars.

The events created / saved in iPhone will automatically synced with Mac .
