How do I block emails that are addressed to main recipient name?

Resending request replacing @ with (at) in order not to trigger personal info block of request:

For example true recipient is xyz(at)gmail.com.

Spammed email xyz.abcde(at)gmail.com.

Also receiving email sent to xyz(at)aol.com or xyzzy.abcde(at)aol.com even though I do not have an aol account.

Please help on to handle this as spam is driving me crazy.

Thank you in advance

Krys

Not to overwheln you but there is both server side filters and client side (on your Mac) filters

You maybe able through a browser log into your mail account and make some change there—for more aggressive or specific spam filtering...

If Junk mail is not working for you as expected you can turn it off in Mail>Preferences.

You have the option of installing a third party spam filter. ex.
