not all my choices are showing up under finder on my mac pro

Some of the files like movie and application are not showing up when I click on Finder on my Mac computer. They have been there and I have them checked under Preferences under Finder

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13

Are you saying that the missing folders are not in the left sidebar?

Try opening Finder and go to your Home folder (Startup disk>Users>Your User).'

Do you see the missing folders? If so just drag the missing folders to the left sidebar.
