when I check my software it say 12.5. How do I get 14.0.1 on my cell phome?

My phone says I am up to date with my software at 12.5 when I know there is a 14.0.1 available. How can I download the 14.0.1 software?

Unfortunately, an iPhone 6 can not be updated beyond iOS 12.5.5.
