Powerbeats pros won't disconnect from my devices even when case is closed

I just got the Powerbeats pro today to replace my broken powerbeats 3. They seem to connect to my devices easily but I've noticed that sometimes when I put them back into the case and close it they stay connected to my Samsung phone and laptop. I will sometimes have to take them in and out of case to get them to disconnect. I would rather them not stay connected when I'm not using them so the battery isn't draining on them. They do snap into the case correctly so I know that they are charging. I don't want to have to keep checking to make sure they have been disconnected from my device. Any tips or tricks to ensure that they disconnect whenever they are put into the case again?

Greetings boychik083,

Test after resetting your Beats, and after checking for a firmware update. If the issue persists, reach out to Apple Support for further assistance. You can see those steps in the articles below:

"If you paired your Beats with an Android device, download the Beats app for Android to update your firmware."

Kind regards.
