Don't understand why some messages won't send on my laptop (MacBook Pro) but, using the same contact info, will go through on my iphone.

iMessages going to other userx.iCloud.com address will be sent through Apple servers.


iMessages being sent to addresses that do not appear to be iCloud.com addresses are LITERALLY forwarded through your iPhone. Your iPhone must be activated, have service, and be powered on for these messages to go through. And you iPhone settings MUST be such that iPhone SMS message forwarding is enabled.
