Show ruler in Pages

Good morning,

Is it possible to show a ruler directly when you're starting a new document in pages without press "command + r"

No. And, enabled rulers are not included in saved templates either. It's the keyboard shortcut.

Does any know how to permanently show the ruler in Pages Hi - Im hoping some knows a way to have the ruler on by default when creating a new Pages document? I tried editing the traditional.template in 00B_Blank with no avail. Hoping someone has a solution. Thanks, Sean

Set Pages to open with ruler visible by default I thought I would revisit this since a year has passed without a response or solution, but I use the rulers in every document and cannot figure out how to set my templates to default to "show rulers." Though this does not take much effort to change every time I start or open a document, but it does not make any sense to me why this appears to not be an option. Can someone tell me if this is possible and how to accomplish it. If it is not possible, why?

Pages - change DOCUMENT measurement units MacOS 10.15.7 Pages 11.1 I have seen many answers that direct to changing the measurement units of the rulers, however, that doesn't alter the units for document setup. I have changed the ruler setting from cm to inches, but then when I go to File > Page Setup > Manage Custom Sizes, I am still stuck with metric, with no ability to set a page size in inches.
