Apple Music Library issue.

I recently subscribed to Apple Music. When I want to download an album to my library, it informs me that I must turn on cloud storage so the album and my library is stored in the cloud. The problem is that my library is too large for storage in the cloud. What am I to do to solve this problem? The old version of iTunes used to download purchased music to my local library. This is NOT good.

Any help would be appreciated.

iCloud Music Library has a hard limit of 100,000 tracks, excluding any purchases. One approach is to remove some content from your library to get down below that limit, so that you can add more content from Apple Music. The alternate approach is to run two completely separate libraries, one with all your personal music, and a separate iCloud Music Library where you add your favourite items from your own library and can add in plenty of Apple Music content as desired.
