wifi icon doesn’t show up in recovery mode

Hello, i just bought today Macbook air 2020 M1 from my friend , he reset it , when i launch macbook it shows finding launch drive or something like that , when i go to instal MacOS , it’s okay it’s downloading but it shows me 8hours , than first time it’s shows me the wifi logo on the left top corner , but now don’t i try to restart multiple times but it didn’t help , i would like to change the faster wifi but i can’t can someone help me ?

if i can’t fix it i hope it will install over night and work properly like it should.

Did not the installed OS work properly? If it was a newly purchased Mac and not working properly, you could have returned it or at the very least gotten a warranty covered remedy.


What problems was the Mac having to prompt it needing to be "reset"? Complete details will help with meaningful assistance.
