Whats the purpose of a keyboard shortcut if you cannot utilize it? I have to open the dictionary app from within the popup and copy the definiton by dragging my cursor. Is there a shortcut to copy definitions?

I think the only direct option is to take a screen shot (e.g. via shift command 5)
How do I copy and paste dictionary lookup? I use shortcut Command Control D to lookup the word I want but am unable to copy definition. Why?
