Hi Katia160,

Welcome to the Apple Community.

Apple Support have articles online that may help / guide

Seems that devices would need to meet these requirements:

Eg: Use AirDrop on your Mac – Apple Support (AU)

Says

    • Both devices are within 30 feet (9 metres) of each other and have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on.
    • Each Mac was introduced in 2012 or later (excluding the 2012 Mac Pro) and is using OS X Yosemite or later. To find out, choose Apple menu  > About This Mac.
    • Each iPhone, iPad or iPod touch is using iOS 7 or later, with Personal Hotspot turned off.

(There's much more info. in the article that opens from the above link).

Unfortunately these article use a later version of MacOS .. Mojave. ... but may work / or suggest a few ideas.

Use AirDrop to share photos from Photos on Mac – Apple Support (AU)

Re: what can I do?

Wondering how many photos ... if just a few

Use Messages and Mail to share photos from Photos on Mac – Apple Support (AU)

or

you may be able to save the photos to an external drive (eg: zip or flash drive) and use that to transfer photos

Use external storage devices with Mac – Apple Support (AU)

and,

if your iPhone supports it:

Connect external storage devices to iPhone – Apple Support (AU)

All the best :-)
