Screen recording not working after updating to 15.4.1

my iPhone 12 Pro Max’s screen recording has not been working since I updated to 15.4.1. It’s all black and only records the sound. I have tried restarting the device and it’d work for once and then all black again.

Does anyone know how to fix this please?

Screen Recording not working properly in iOS 13 13.1.2 Hey there! There seems to be an issue when trying to use Screen Recording since the iOS 13 update. From time to time, when I try to record something on my iPhone it suddenly stops recording and/or resets the Microphone. Also if I'm listening to music, it will record the music and not my voice anymore, in iOS 12 this didn't happen.

Screen Recording Blank/Black I am on the latest release of iOS (15.5). Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max When I use the built-in screen recorder via the control panel my screen recordings are blank. This is for all types of media/apps, e.g. games, website, the iOS platform itself. When I finish the recording, it immediately notifies me that the screen recording has been saved to videos. I go to check it, and it's just a black screen. If I restart my phone, the screen recording function will work... a few times.. then the same issue persists. Any ideas?

Try a Hard Reset:

Press volume up (quickly)
Press volume down (quickly)
Press and hold the power button until the Apple logo ( ) appears

If that didn’t work, it could be a hardware issue. ⚠️
