Apple ID password rejects every proposed new password

I am trying to change my password. We get to the point where we are asked to propose a new password.

It gives the error message “weak or reused password” to every conceivable password we propose.


I can’t find anywhere to contact Apple for help. So please help if you can.

Thanks for responding. The point is that it won’t accept anything!

I have tried every combination But about thirty attempts have been rejected it’s clearly a bug has anyone got any idea how to report it or get round it.

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.


If you want to, you can send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner. Pick the closest topic you can find.
