Sound glitching on new Macbook M1 Pro with Monterey

Help! I bought the new Macbook M1 Pro a month ago, and the sound keeps glitching. I've already sent it to an Apple repairer who reinstalled and found everything fine. It seems to get worse the longer I play music. It's like the CPU can't keep up and the sound glitches like a pause for a mili-second.

I have checked all audio lines out and just unplugged everything and put it just thru the speakers on my mac and it does the same thing. So it's not a lead/interface/connection issue, it's onboard the new mac somewhere!!

It’s very frustrating as I’m a music producer recording sound. Regretting spending the ridiculous amount for a newer Mac that isn’t working properly.

Hi Leroy,
Just to update you.
While reducing to 44100hz fixed it for a little while, the problem returned.
It's strange that it keeps recurring after being fixed initially.
Let me know if you come up with any other solutions.
