Sound glitching on new Macbook M1 Pro with Monterey

It’s very frustrating as I’m a music producer recording sound. Regretting spending the ridiculous amount for a newer Mac that isn’t working properly.

try making a change to Audio Midi Setup.app and report your findings.

Still trying to drill down on this issue being reported frequently here...

While reducing to 44100hz fixed it for a little while, the problem returned.

It's strange that it keeps recurring after being fixed initially.
