I purchased a years subscription of Acorn. I can only get it on an acorn app i downloaded on my iPad and iPhone. How do i move it to my tv

Make sure you install the Acorn app on your Apple TV https://apps.apple.com/us/app/acorn-tv/id896014310 and sign in.

You can get the Acorn subscription in several ways, and such subscriptions are not always exchangeable.

• The subscription started in the Acorn app on your iPhone or iPad can be used in the Acorn app on Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Apple TV box). It is not exchangeable with the Acorn app on third party devices. It is not exchangeable with the tv channel in the Apple TV app of the same name, unless Acorn has made provisions to verify and recognize subscriptions through Apple. Contact Acorn for options.
• A subscription started in the Apple TV app for the Acorn tv channel can be used on any device with the Apple TV app (including select smart TVs) when signed in with matching Apple ID account. It is not exchangeable with the separate Acorn app on any device, unless Acorn has made provisions to verify and recognize this type of subscription as well. Contact Acorn for options.
• A subscription started with Acorn directly can be used in the Acorn app on any supported platform, by signing in. It is not exchangeable with the Acorn tv channel in the Apple TV app.
• Acorn doesn’t have an app for LG at this time. If the LG TV is AirPlay-enabled, then you may be able to stream from your iPhone or iPad.
