LAN Connected but NO Ping to Router

Hello,

I'm trying to connect to my LAN router. After I plug-in the LAN Cable and manually set my IP, Subnet Mask, Router and DNS Server address, ethernet says it is Connected (Screenshot Below). However; when I try to ping the router through terminal, it says:

Request timeout for icmp_seq 0

Request timeout for icmp_seq 1

Request timeout for icmp_seq 2

Request timeout for icmp_seq 3

Request timeout for icmp_seq 4

Request timeout for icmp_seq 5

ping: sendto: Host is down

3 other systems are connected to the same router with same configuration (with different IP obviously) and their ping is fine. This all started after I installed speedify for merging LAN & Wifi networks (Which I deleted/uninstalled afterwards). I have already tried deleting the ethernet, creating a new ethernet etc.

Have you tried rebooting the Mac?

Try connecting while booted into Safe Mode.

Also, are you sure all traces of "speedify" are gone? You mentioned "deleted/uninstalled" which are two different things. "Uninstall" is using the developer's uninstall app to hopefully completely remove all of the app's installed components, but many times may still leave things behind. "Deleting" an app will only remove the items contained within the app bundle, but not any files the app may have installed into system areas of macOS or maybe you meant you manually searched through the whole Mac looking for bits of the "speedify" app and manually deleted the items you could find. Customized network settings could be one of them. Does macOS even display within the Network System Preferences GUI the customized parts of low level configuration files when they are manually edited from an app or command line?

Hmm, a prefix of 24 = 255.255.255.0

If you temporarily change Configure IPv4 to: Automatic, and restart your Mac, can it access the router now?

If so, then try changing Configure IPv4 to: Using DHCP with manual address. Then enter the IPs as desired. Still work?

If so, then before changing to Manual, double-check that your router is not configured for MAC address filtering as John Galt has eluded to.

All other systems connecting through the same router can ping the router (Screenshot Attached). Which means the issue is at my end not at the router’s end.

Is it possible that my system is using the same port it was using when speedify was installed? And thats why it shows connected but no data is transmitted? If this is the case what is the remedy?

Initially, I deleted the app. However, after a couple of days, I had to clean install my macOS so I erased my hard drive completely and then re-installed from an external bootable drive. Made a new user from scratch however; the error still persists. LAN connection is physically connected (as in my screenshot above) but no ping to router and no data packets sent/received. Again, all 3 systems using the same router can ping the router
