I lost my iPad, does the assurance cover a new one?

I lost my iPad, I bought it in France and I was wondering if the assurance that I have covered this issue

Is a lost iPhone worthless after a claim is filed? I have AppleCare + loss & theft, if I lose my phone and file a claim and get a new one is my old phone worthless or can it be used if it’s found. Also If I break my phone do I have to send it in if I file a claim or can I keep it for parts. iPhone 13 Pro Max bought from Apple, I own it outright

No. AppleCare+ for iPad does not cover loss or theft.
