Why no iTunes

Syncing from my MacBook pro and my iPhone 13 pro is a pain in the *** since they got rid of iTunes. Is there a guide to doing this and naming episodes, etc.

You should be able to edit metadata in the TV app, which is where you would manage movies and TV shows in a post-Mojave world. I've just downloaded a couple of my purchased episodes and checked that edits would stick.

See Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod using your computer - Apple Support.

When you say naming episodes are you referring to podcasts or audiobooks? Editing metadata for either is generally unsupported with the new apps, but with audiobooks it is possible to prepare data in Music before importing the tracks to Books. See Organizing audiobook chapters - Apple Community for more.

Well, I guess its just gone. I do not understand why they take something that works well and make it difficult with no upside. I tried dragging a movie over and it doesn't work either. I buy audiobooks in audible and it works fine. If I copy all my dvd's of tv shows, I would like to name the files and tag episodes so they play in the correct order. Maybe there isn't a solution.
