Apple Account Access

I just got a call that my apple account was used outside of the US. The rep told me to go to settings, general, legal and regulatory, then read the countries that my apple account has been accessed from. There are a few. He told me he needed to access my account (red flag) to stop the “hackers” from using my account. I told him I would take my device to apple and they can handle it. He then hung up on me. I’m sure it was a scam but what countries should I be seeing?
