CarPlay disconnecting with Subaru Crosstrek Sport 2021
New 2021 Crosstrek Sport in January 2022. From the very beginning the media system has spontaneously disconnected from CarPlay at random times. Sometimes it can happen multiple times on the same drive. Then can go a few days or weeks until it happens again. But it always reoccurs sooner or later. Have tried all recommended troubleshooting and still unable to solve it. Using iPhone 11pro and the iOS is up to date. Subaru MultiMedia system is the upgraded 8" screen version. Subaru points the finger at Apple, yet my same iPhone did not have this problem a single time with a Chevy rental car I drove cross country in over the course of a week. Please advise. Is this a Subaru problem or an Apple problem? I know many others are experiencing this issue. Has anyone found a reliable fix?
