Screen recording always saves black screen.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. There multiple reasons some apps may not allow screen recording. You also can't record your screen and use screen mirroring at the same time. See more on that here: Record the screen on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch

Same here: I close all apps and I still cannot record the home screen, only a black screen is saved for the duration of the video.
