Hyundai 2022 and iPhone 11 Pro max

What type of cord do I need to buy to charge my iPhone in the car with the USB port? I’m confused.
I’d like to be able to use Waze either through CarPlay and my navigation system or just use it through my phone while the phone is charging. However I need a cord. The one that came with the phone doesn’t fit a USB port.

i am taking a month long road trip in a month. I need to be able to figure out the cord and the closest Apple store isn’t close.

Then you must not have ordered the one that was listed in the link that Stevi_S provided. That is a USB-A to lightning cable. The USB-A port should plug into your vehicle. It sounds like you got a USB-C to lightning cable. Click on the blue text in Stevi_S's response, and it will show you the exact Apple cable.

I’m losing my mind. It just arrived and is too small for the USB port. It’s the same size as the one I use to charge my phone at night. it has to be bigger. I accidentally tried another cord (a couple of weeks that I use to charge the dog mail dremel on my computer, and that cord fit in the Hyundai USB port. I thought I had the phone cord. However, I realized it wasn’t my phone cord after I plugged it in.

Thanks. Second time will be the charm. I thought I bought the right one when I went on my computer to order what he said. New one arrives next Wed. This one at least has free returns. Hyundai even said turn it over. It just takes a USB cord. I was thinking I’ve tried that. It’s small.
