I have set up lots of shortcuts for non HomeKit devices for my home, like fans, lights, tv, speakers, aircon. All seems to be working except the aircon. The shortcuts works on my iPhone and Apple Watch just not working properly on my HomePod mini. It works intermittently like 10% of the time, the rest of the time it will say I m unable to locate the device. Any encounters this problem or knows how to solve this?
It’s a non HomeKit device that i m trying to control. Its purely via the shortcuts function. i have tried all the troubleshooting steps below and it still doesn’t work. It seems like the word ‘aircon’ is the issue for HomePod mini. As long as i change the word ‘aircon’ to something else in my shortcut it will work correctly.
Example:
When the shortcut is ‘ turn on the aircon’ , it will reply device not found 90% of the time.
When i change the shortcut replacing the word aircon to something else like, ‘turn on the turtle’ it will work correctly.
