That's a fantastic question, lakegaston.

To confirm, are you asking what appears on the screen as the iPhone is restoring, what appears on the screen after the restore, or what steps to take to complete a restore? If you're asking how to complete a restore, those steps can be found in the section titled "Restore your device to factory settings" of the following article.

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings

As for what you'll see on the screen when the iPhone is being restored, you'll see the background and Lock Screen that you currently have set, the iPhone will restart, then show the Apple logo or the Apple logo and loading bar. After the restore has completed, you’ll see “Hello” in various languages. Once the "Hello" screen appears, you can either set up the iPhone as new or restore to a backup as outlined in the article below.

Set up your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you're seeking clarification on something else, please let us know in more detail about what you're seeking.

Have a great day!
