Can i rent movie 4k or just HD on my apple TV?
I saw a movie on apple TV and i want to rent it to watch. That movie has 4k, so if i rent it can i watch in 4k on my apple TV? Or i just have HD(780p)?

The listed resolution for a title in Apple’s catalog is the maximum available. Reduced resolutions are also available. Resolutions on other media or in other regions are not indicative. What matters is the version in the iTunes Store for your region, as supplied by the studios.
If you stream 4K content on Apple TV 4K, with video settings at 4K, and connected to a 4K TV, then you will get the 4K version. On smaller screen devices, a lower resolution may be default. For downloads of iTunes Store items, 4K is not available; instead users may select for 1080p, 720p, or SD.
Renting gives you the same resolution as buying a title.
