Dark screen

Once the screen becomes dark while I'm working. From then on I am unable to open the MacBook Pro wide open because it gets dark again.

Macbook display darkens and turns black The more I open my macbook the darker it gets. For example if my macbook is completly open the screens gets black. But when my macbook is 40 degrees open, the display is normal. But the more it opens the more it darkens, until the screen is black. Can someone help me with this?

In Display Settings make sure that Automatically Adjust Brightness is un-checked
