When I follow the instructions to cancel subscriptions my device tells me I have no subscriptions. I'm being billed for 4 separate subscriptions. Why can't I see them?

See the instructions in If the subscription that you want to cancel is not listed - Apple Support and if needed also see the following from that support article:

If you still can't find the subscription and cancel it, contact Apple Support.

iCloud subscription?

Check -> go to -> Settings -> your name -> iCloud -> if you see 50 GB (or 200 GB ot 2 TB) then you have an iCloud subscription.

If you have an iCloud subscription, you will receive a monthly bill from Apple, check your e-mail box.

You pay monthly for iCloud storage.
