Kingston 5300t thunderbolt SD stops working after upgrading to Mac OS 12.3.1

I have a Sandisk extreme 1TB. I was able to access it via Kingston SD5300t thunderbolt 3 port before the upgrade. After the upgrade, I can't anymore.

To be fair, I am able to access it if I hook it to my M1 Macbook Air directly but I will be left without any other port if I do that. Obviously, this might be an incompatibility between Kingston SD5300t thunderbolt 3 port and the new version of Mac OS.

What gives? Is there a plan (for Apple or Kingston) to fix it?

FWIW, if this happens again, simply shut everything down, disconnect everything from the dock and turn off power to the dock. Wait about 30 seconds and then reconnect everything. Sometimes an update can kick external devices into an odd state and they need a power down reset to restore.

This may be a false alarm. After a few hours, the blue light on Kingston SD5300t lit up. I then plugged the SD Harddrive back into the thunderbolt 3 port and it is working as before.

I am not sure why it will do this though.
