We are trying to update payment method on the phone for iCloud storage to keep updating for 0.99 cent a month but it will not remove old debt card from the iCloud account?

We are trying to update payment method
Sign in to your Apple ID account page and edit your Apple ID details.
On the Sidebar click Payment methods -> then tap Payments Methods and tap Manage payment method.

for iCloud storage to keep updating for 0.99 cent a month
Check -> Go to -> Settings -> your name -> iCloud -> if you see 50 GB (or 200 GB ot 2 TB) then you have an iCloud subscription.
If you have an iCloud subscription, you will receive a monthly bill from Apple, check your e-mail box.
You pay monthly for iCloud storage.
The subscription runs as long as you don't downgrade.
You cannot deactivate/pause the subscription for 1 month, but you can downgrade to free (5 GB).
