Google notes disappearing from iphone

Some of my google notes have disappeared from my iphone. In the past when this has happened I just turned my iphone off and on and they reappeared. That no longer appears to be working. Any suggestions?

No, the notes are enabled on my iphone. Most of the notes are there. Only some are missing.
