Macbook Pro and Microsoft Teams

I am trying to give Microsoft Teams access to my microphone and camera but MS Teams is showing up in the list System Preferences>Security & Privacy> Privacy.

I am using macOS Big Sur Version 11.6.5

How can I add this app, MS Teams, to the list of apps that can use the laptop camera and microphone?

I have tried all the suggestions in the Community and can not get a fix for this. It can't be that complicated.

Thanks Steve, it seemed to fix the problem by downloading the Teams app on to my laptop. Previously was web based. Opening my first meeting from there requested the use of my camera and microphone, separately. It should all work seamlessly but apparently not! Oh well, working now, so thanks again from the community. All hail the community experts.

Replying to my own post as there was a critical error in my original wording.

My experience with MS-Teams is that when you open the app, a dialogue comes up asking if you want to add it to that list in System Preferences. Have you opened the app, connecting to an actual meeting? That is when it presents the option, in my experience.

If that does not happen, while you are troubleshooting, you can copy and paste the meeting link into Chrome and join the MS-Teams from Chrome and see if the camera and microphone work from there.
