I have seen this question before but don’t know if something new has come up.
is there a way to recover old locked notes if you have forgotten your nots password and reset it.
after researching I haven’t found a solution. If anybody knows. Please help.

There is no “back door”, the data security and data encryption used to protect your data is robust, and your efforts to breach data security—you’re effectively here trying to breach your own data security here, too—will be stymied without that password.
You have to remember the password.
There is no other way to get those notes open.
Unfortunately for those who have misplaced their old Notes passwords … it remains:
