Update Safari on Mac:

  1. From the Apple menu  in the corner of your screen, choose System Preferences.
  2. In the System Preferences window, click Software Update.
  3. If your System Preferences doesn't include Software Update, use the App Store to get updates instead.
  4. Install any updates or upgrades shown. The most up-to-date version of Safari is included with the latest version of macOS.

Not one thing in the response helped me in any way. My iMac has been discontinued by apple, PERIOD!

My Safari cannot even open the App Store.

So many sites are sending messages that either my browser must be updated or I will no longer be able to use their site.

I have to take it that means my poor old, wonderful computer is slowing dying. Too bad I will not be able to replace it,

Apple made computing easy and fun and I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment I used it. Like saying good bye to a friend.

Thank yo for trying to help me, it jut did not work.
