i have uninstalled, re-installed, reset device, checked wifi, moved projector closer to wifi. tv+ works on other devices in the same room on the same wifi.
this worked recently, within the last week, and now i can not stream anything.
The Apple TV app is meant to run on select Android TV devices, as listed:
List of Apple TV app-supported devices - Apple
Other Android TV devices are not supported, and may or may not work with this app.
Had the same issue on same device. Fixed by changing settings on ATV “Limit Playback to SD” - On
appletv+, the projector works just fine with other streaming services. seems to be an issue with appletv+

every other service streams on my smart tv apart from Apple.
it plays for a few seconds then I get the 1021 error code.
to be honest, there is no supported netflix app for the projector i started this thread on, but i can't install the netflix app from the google play store. i understand not supporting a device, quality of experience considerations and drm factors must be involved. that said, give me a clear error or don't let me install the app from the store in the first place.

Thank you. That will be why it isn't working then. Typical Apple ..... every other streaming app works apart from theirs. So restrictive.
Shouldn’t this be stated somewhere when you download the app. What a colossal waste of time for the users who tried to make it work! And would it be restricted? What’s the point?
