epson ET 2850 keeps going offline OS 12.3.1. I have to turn it off and on again. I have only had it a week. I wasn't aware of the problem until I installed the latest firmware update, but it may have been there then also. I have updated the driver and rechecked the network connection, all seem fine.
If all else fails and since your Epson ET-2850 is AirPrint compatible remove the printer from the System/Printer & Scanner preference pane and add it back using the wireless option.

As your printer is not working, and you've done some troubleshooting steps already, ensure you have tried all of the steps in Solve printing problems on Mac.
If it continues, follow Reset the printing system on your Mac to solve a problem and see if that helps.

I reset the printing system, reconnected the printer to my WiFi and added it back, looks fine now, time will tell. Thanks for the answer.
I am using the wireless option. Appears to drop off of my iOS devices too, have to turn printer off and on to restore so I guess it's may be a problem between the router and the printer? I don't have to reconnect it to the wifi, just turn the printer off an on. If the router very briefly drops off periodically would that cause this. Don't have any noticeable problems streaming TV or using phone/iPad but probably wouldn't notice very brief interruption.
