Outlook “Cannot Verify Server Identity”

When I am not connected to the internet on my iPhone this pops up. I have deleted the email from my mail app and added it back. I reseted my network settings. It does not allow me to trust the certificate. When I am using my wifi there is no problem and I do not see a pop up. When I go to outlook on my safari app it says a security warning and does not let me proceed to the website. When I use my chrome app it says a error code. I had this problem with my old iPhone and was unable to solve it. I took my phone to the Apple Store and they could not help me. They said I had to call outlook and it’s their problem. I called Microsoft and no one answered.

What happens when you click the "Details" on the error popup message (See the Pic below)

Best would be to Delete and Add the email account that is creating the issue.

You may also try changing SSL settings

Settings > Password & Accounts > [Select the Mail account} > [Tape on Account with the email ID} > Advanced > SSL Settings > [Disable]

Click <Account (in Blue)

Click on DONE (in Blue) when exiting in the previous screen

When I click on details it shows the subject name, issues name, serial number for the certificate. There is nowhere for me to trust it.

When I go to my mail app and go to my email and click “advanced settings” there is no area to change the SSL settings.

I have tried deleting the email turning off my phone and adding it back and the pop up still occurs.
