Siri makes me unlock I phone before texting a group.

I like to use Siri while driving to text but it won’t allow me to text a group without unlocking iPhone first. All my settings are turned on “allow Siri while locked” and my group messages are on. Thanks.

How to make phone calls with Siri when phone is locked? Before the most recent update to 16.6.1 I was able to make calls using “Hey Siri” or holding down the power button. I never changed any settings and I still have my phone set to allow Siri when device is locked. I can hold down a missed call and call back from the Lock Screen but Siri now tells me I need to unlock my iPhone first. How can I change that?
