How am I able to add music to my existing iPod without iTunes??

Buy music from the iTunes Store, using the iPod's built-in iTunes Store app.

Why do you not want to use iTunes? Use iTunes to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer - Apple Support

or, in addition to the Fiend's suggestion, you can also use a 3rd party app to transfer music on your computer to your iPod. Do a Google search on Transfer music from PC to iPod.
